Alex came to me for headshots for something special she is trying out for. When she walked in my studio I was like “seriously… you already look the part”! I’ll let you guess what they are for. Alex you are GORGEOUS!! I’m cheering her on all the way; no pun intended!

I’m loving the newborns more and more each session. She didn’t sleep much for us but this shot is one of my favorites. I may even print it and hang it in my studio. She is beautiful from head to toe. Thanks Megan and Rob, I look forward to seeing you again soon.

I was in and out all weekend, and loved coming home late last night from a Photography meet up in Philly to find a note that said “Pick which one you like the best . . . aren’t they cool ?!” Nothing says I LOVE YOU more than creepy crawlers made just for me by my two favorite people. Can you guess which one I liked the best?

I’m not a huge fan of Valentine’s Day. Celebrating the one you love should happen every day!! But if your a kid, there’s nothing more fun than exchanging Valentines and yummy treats with your classmates. I made this for my favorite little 5 year old …. she’s so adorable.

The Five Year Old . . .

Hello … I’m finally back to work. I hope you enjoyed the holidays with your family and friends; I know we did. It’s so fun to eat, drink and be merry with the ones you love most.
I will try to be a better blogger this year. I need to brush up on my writing skills to make it a little more interesting.
As not a huge fan of cold weather, I was so grateful for the slightly warmer weather we had this past weekend to fit in a birthday session for one cool kid! He brought along his tree frogs, a HUGE beetle and some trendy brown chucks. I think I’ll stay a girly girl; but I really had fun with this and was surprised to learn how far the tree frog could jump.

I had the pleasure of taking this cutie’s 6 month portraits. She was sooooo cooperative and so were her super fun parents. It warmed my heart to hear her squeal with excitement. I can’t wait to do it again when she turns one.

So I have a thing for taking pictures of shoes, any kind of shoes. While doing a modeling audition session I had an image in my head of my friend’s daughter on pointe …. and to see it come to “print” as I saw it in my head is pretty cool!
